In this video, I put ON1 Resize 2026 to the test and compare the Standard and High Quality modes side by side. Both do a solid job doubling the size of an image and even pushing beyond that, which is impressive in itself. But when you start looking closely—edges, texture, fine detail—that’s where High Quality pulls ahead.
I’ll show an example so you can see the differences for yourself. High Quality mode produces the best results by a noticeable margin, especially if you're planning large prints or tight crops. The tradeoff? It takes longer to process—sometimes a minute or two depending on your machine and the image size. For some workflows, that extra time is absolutely worth it. For others, Standard gets you there faster with results that are still very good. By the end of the video, you’ll know exactly when to reach for each mode.
