One of my favorite tools for black and white editing is Curves. I’ll use a curve to boost contrast for the overall photo… and then dive into localized curve treatments. It’s all about using the curve to guide the viewer’s eye through intentional edits to your photo. In this video, I’ll show you a few tone curves I used on a landscape image to increase drama and draw attention to specific characteristics of the scene. It's not about being flashy—it’s about being thoughtful with tone.
