When I start a photo editing workflow, I almost always begin with the crop tool — and for a very good reason. In this quick tip video, I show you a winter landscape with gently sloping snow-covered hills, a mix of evergreens and bare deciduous trees, and explain how I approach cropping to refine composition.
I’ll walk you through my thought process, why I captured this scene the way I did, and how small crop adjustments can dramatically improve your final image.
