Importing Photos And ON1 Sidecar Files
An ON1 sidecar file is created to store metadata and editing adjustments for a photo. For photos already in your library, the sidecar files are created only when a change is made. An eagle-eyed viewer noticed ON1 sidecars for photos they had not been modified - no metadata changes, no editing adjustments. Why?
The answer is the import process. If you are using the import helper in ON1, sidecar files are created during import. I’ll show you in today’s video.
