How To Create Pastel Colors In Lightroom
A softer, pastel palette delivers a calm, soothing mood to a photo. If the colors in your photo are too vibrant, try out this interesting use of the Dehaze slider to make pastel colors. It’s quick and easy to do.
The basic recipe is to decrease the Dehaze slider (negative numbers) and increase the Saturation slider (positive numbers). I recommend using this in combination with a color range mask in a graduated, radial, or brush adjustment. Some tweaks to Exposure and Highlights can also be used to fine tune the look.
