How To Make A Warm Sunshine Glow With Radial Filters - Lightroom

Adding a warm, inviting glow in Lightroom is easy using a radial filter and the power of luminance range masks. The recipe is simple:

  1. Drag a Radial filter over the area you want to be affected

  2. Make sure the Invert checkbox is selected

  3. Turn on the Luminance range mask and tighten the range to the upper end of the scale. A range of 70/100 is a good starting point.

  4. Increase the Temperature slider to add warmth

  5. Decrease the Contrast, Texture, and Clarity sliders to soften and create the glow

Watch the video and you’ll see the technique in action. You can use this recipe for other color tinting jobs, too.
