My favorite view of the hoodoos in Bryce Canyon is from Inspiration Point. The land stretches far and wide and at the same time, there are more intimate patterns to find among the cliffs and rocks. It was a nice treat to break out my longer lens for some landscape work - and good for me to get out of my wide-angle comfort zone.

I also enjoyed working with nuanced color in the processing of this image, bringing out the more pink and orange hues of the late afternoon light.
