The Sunshine filter in ON1 Effects breathes life into dull photos. It is great for outdoor scenes when nature didn’t quite deliver that warm, inviting sunlight our cameras simply love. The filter has four simple controls and is very easy to use.

  • Amount: Set the intensity of the Sunshine effect

  • Warmth: Adjust the temperature of the image itself.

  • Saturation: Enrich or mute the colors of the image itself

  • Glow: Add a diffused glow to the photo

This landscape scene has color but is a bit dull and drab.

Adding the Sunshine filter brings the photo to life!

The Warmth and Saturation sliders actually affect your photo, not the Sunshine look itself. You don’t need to know that to use the filter effectively. Watch your photo as you adjust the sliders. In the end, it is the look of your photo that matters, not the sliders you use or their final positions.
