Photography Plans For 2019

It’s that time of year when I look back at the past 12 months and reflect on where I’ve been photography… and perhaps more importantly where I want to go next. As I was reviewing photos and thinking about the major things I want to focus on in 2019, I figured I’d turn on the camera and record a few thoughts.

My big ticket items for 2019:

  • Reconnect with my photo educator roots. YouTube videos are great, and those continue. Photo workshops are the absolute best. An area to improve for 2019 is in more complete online courses and books.

  • Do less and finish more. I started a lot in 2018. In 2019, I need to focus on finishing projects.

  • Simply practice photography. Avoid the trap of becoming just a guy that *talks* about photography and doesn’t actually *practice* photography.

Have a wonderful rest of 2018 and all the best in 2019!

And if you haven’t already, tell me what types of videos you like the most. It’ll take you less than 30 seconds, I promise!
