Choose The Right Printer Driver For Better Prints

Not all printer drivers are created equal. I always download the drivers from the printer manufacturer. I noticed on my Mac system, the default printer driver is an “AirPrint” driver. That driver works, however for photo prints some very important printer options aren’t available. Make sure you are installing and selecting the driver from your printer manufacturer so you can get better prints.

My advice … Don’t update to AirPrint!

Also … don’t update to AirPrint! Doing so will replace the vendor’s driver with a more generic AirPrint driver. It’ll work, but you’ll lose advanced print options.
