Sunrise Outside Julian
I stopped along the road outside of Julian, California as the sun rose over the hills. I'd spent the pre-dawn hour at Lake Cuyamaca capturing some peaceful scenes of the clouds reflecting in the lake. I watched this scene change from shadowy to a glorious mix of golds, greens, and blues in a matter of minutes. I paid some extra care during processing to play up the light and shadow in the scene.
