A location on my bucket list was the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove just outside of Kyoto, Japan. I visited the grove twice. Once early in the morning and again a few hours later. Oh, my, what a difference a few hours can make. Join me In The Field for a visit to the bamboo grove and a chat about why you sometimes have to trade sleep to realize your photographic vision.
