Carriage Road In Acadia National Park

Fall foliage decorates the carriage roads that criss-cross Acadia National Park. One of my “missions” visiting Acadia National Park was to hike a few of the carriage roads. In the fall, they are beautiful. A canopy of fall color, with the gravel pathways dotted with fallen leaves. Some views took a couple of hours to hike to. This one here was a mere five minutes from a nearby parking area.
