A Momentary Break In The Rain
Written By Scott Davenport
Back in February, my friends Chris & Ron Paulk visited San Diego. We met up one afternoon for some photography – and it poured all afternoon. We sat in a car near the ocean, chatting away & staying dry… and then the rain stopped. Just long enough to capture the last light of sunset. Yeah… that was a good day.
Photo Of The Moment
The rolling hills of Zabriskie Point offer a unique combination of colors, shapes, and textures.
Scott Davenport is a landscape photographer and photo educator and based in San Diego, California. He leads photo workshops, writes photo books, hosts podcasts, makes tutorial videos, and feels weird referring to himself in the 3rd person.
He also can't help getting his feet wet photographing at the beach.
With sunsets after 11pm and sunrise at 2am, a landscape photographer doesn’t get a lot of sleep.
