5 Tips From The Acadia Workshop

Last week I hosted a great group of photographers in Acadia National Park. After each workshop I like to reflect and consider the things we focused on and the realizations we had. In this video I recap the workshop and share 5 tips and observations from a week in Maine.

  • Target glow looks to brighter areas of a photo, such as foliage in sunlight

  • Crops are powerful and can dramatically refine an image

  • Pay attention to smaller details and micro-landscapes

  • Strive for element separation in a scene

  • Sturdy tripods are well worth carrying
