What's New In Luminar 4.3

Skylum released Luminar 4.3 today. There are several new features and I’ll show you my favorites in this video. What’s changed that caught my eye:

  • Photo Search: The Library module has a Search button now. You can search for a word or date. Photos that have file names, folder names, or dates that match are shown. A Recently Searched shortcut also is added to the Library panel.

  • Hover on Looks: Trying out Luminar Looks for your photos is much faster in Luminar 4.3. Open the Looks panel and hover over a look. The preview area shows how the look will affect your photo. This is my favorite new feature - it really speeds up workflow.

  • Crop Tool has a new home: The Crop Tool is now in the Canvas Tools area of the right hand panel. Makes sense … it’s a tool that affects the canvas, after all.

  • Custom Sky Images: It is now much easier to access custom skies in the AI Sky Replacement tool. The AI Augmented Sky also got a custom area for sky overlays.

  • Performance: Luminar 4.3 is just overall much snappier that prior versions.

Luminar 4.3 is a free update if you already have Luminar 4. If you are thinking of adding it to your set of photo tools, save a little money and use my offer code SDP10.
