Swells Are Gone

It was a very hot day in San Diego. I chose the wrong day to hike down - and back up - the cliffs near the Torrey Pines Glider Port. I'll have some video of that coming to an In The Field episode in a couple of week.s

The tide was ho-hum and receding, so the surfers headed in early. Processing on this was a complete experiment. The light was harsh and colors either too bright or washed out, so I went with the hazier faded type look.

I took this photo about 90 minutes before meeting up with Spencer for our new podcast, Photographers In Cars. If you haven't checked out what Spencer and I are doing, please give it a try.

We're syndicating in all the major places, although I'll steer you toward YouTube. Watching us giggle and crack each other up is part of the fun.
