Sunset At Scripps Pier

I made another visit to Scripps Pier last week for the twice yearly sunset alignment... sometimes referred to as ScrippsHenge. It's when the sun passes through the aperture at the end of the pier. The sun did make an appearance last week, however it was very muted.

My favorite shots were well before sunset. Here's my favorite:

I made some new friends during the shoot, which was worth the visit in and of itself. I did grab some behind the scenes footage as well. Watch for that in an upcoming In The Field episode.
