Natural Arch Of Engetsuto
The number of interesting natural rock formations in Shirahama, Japan is surprising. There are so many interesting coves to explore and rocks to climb. Engetsuto is one of my favorites - and you can see why. Even on a gloomier day, this island / natural arch has character!
While I didn't have the opportunity, at very low tides a land bridge seems to form. At least it looks like it. Maybe from across this expanse of water, it's an optical illusion. That's an excuse for a return visit, right?
