Lone Ranch Beach, Oregon

Lone Ranch Beach near Brookings is a great beach for seascapes. There is always plenty of interesting subjects to incorporate into the scene. The rocks are permanent while the logs and driftwood are continually shifting around. There is always a new composition to be found.

This photo was the one and only I took of this area. After framing this one up, I had several of my workshop students explore this space and get their own photos. That’s how it is on my workshops - the participants come first.
