Donggung Palace, South Korea
My family stayed several days in Gyeongju during our visit to Japan and South Korea. Gyeongju was the capital city of the Silla Dynasty, from before the peninsula was united under one ruler. The photo here is of Donggung Palace.
We visited the palace both during the day and at night. By day, it's a lovely place for a walk with a nice display in the main building showcasing some history of the region. By night, the walls, buildings, and grounds are lit. They become mirrored in Wolji Pond. I'll admit it... I prefer the night views.
