A Zabriskie Sunrise
I've photographed Zabriskie Point in Death Valley many times. On this morning, cloud banks to the east threw an interesting mix of light and shadow on the land. The sawtooth peak was beautifully back lit at one moment, and prominently lit in another. Captured: February 14, 2018 Subscribe and share!
I've photographed Zabriskie Point many times. The lighting on this day was unusual (at least to me, based on past experiences). Cloud banks to the east kept the rolling features of Zabriskie Point in shadow while the basin and hills in the background caught the morning light. Later in the morning, the reverse happened. The sawtooth of Manly Peak was lit with the mountains and basin in shadow.

I also had my Sony RX0 camera running to capture the changes in the scene. I turned it into a time lapse video. Enjoy!
