A Visit To The Salk Institute

About two weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to attend a tour of the Salk Institute. My buddy Spencer of Photographers In Cars arranged it. Our tour guide, Sherry, was excellent. She's an engineer and architect, and as a result, I have a much greater appreciation for the elegance in what to many may appear as a stark concrete building.

Far from it! The entire complex is a dazzling display of light and shadow. Fibonacci and the golden ratio are everywhere in the complex. Handheld photos were allowed - no tripods! And photos are for personal enjoyment only. So... enjoy these, my friends. You'll ever see these in any of my commercial work or videos.
