Rock, Rock, Rockaway Beach

Rockaway Beach, Pacifica, CA

I made a beeline from the San Francisco airport to the coast to squeeze in a sunset photo. After a false start with a vantage of San Pedro Rock, I scooted north a bit to Rockaway Beach in Pacifica. The potential for a brilliant sunset was there, however was squashed at the last moments by lingering horizon-level clouds. Hanging around after sunset yielded some purple and pink tones.

And yes, I was humming the Ramones the whole time I was there shooting. Here's a bit of behind the scenes from this outing.
