Windansea Sunset

Windansea Sunset

Earlier in the week I met up with my friends Joe and Steve for a shoot out at Windansea Beach in La Jolla. I hadn't been to this section of the San Diego shore in a couple of months. And it was good to get out and shoot with others, talk shop a bit, and then collectively yet individually do our thing.

Weather conditions didn't look like they'd yield a good show... until they did. I'm starting to think Joe is a good luck charm. The last time I met him in La Jolla, weather conditions didn't look good... until they turned good.

This is one of a gazillion photos I took (I'm pretty sure gazillion is an official unit of measure in pockets of the Deep South). There is one more batch I'm keen to process... that might turn into episodes of In The Field and In Post. Stay tuned.

Technical Details:
- Sony A7R w/ FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS
- f/16 @ 17mm, 1/3 sec, ISO 50
- Single frame processed in Lightroom and on1 Perfect Effects
