Trevi Fountain

When in Rome, you must visit the Trevi Fountain. There's no denying its magnificence. I first saw it as a tourist almost two decades ago. When I returned to Italy, I was more than a tourist. I was a photographer. I wanted a photo of the fountain that wasn't shot through a crowd.

One morning while my family slept, I ventured out to the fountain. I was out on the streets way before sunrise... the metro wasn't even running yet. I had Trevi to myself. And as a bonus - a quiet walk through Rome as the city slowly woke up was another treat (and now a fond memory).
