Last week I had the privilege of hosting six photographers in Big Sur that were both talented and fun to be around. Our finest sunset was the first night at Asilomar Beach. I processed this photo the day after during one of our post processing “fireside chats.”

I’m in Big Sur this week hosting a group of my fellow photographers for a week-long workshop.
San Diego had some wonderful sunsets the last few days. That is the cherry on top for a great workshop.
Death Valley was a great time last week. After every workshop I host, I like to reflect on the themes that emerged.
Scott Davenport is a landscape photographer and photo educator and based in San Diego, California. He leads photo workshops, writes photo books, hosts podcasts, makes tutorial videos, and feels weird referring to himself in the 3rd person.
He also can't help getting his feet wet photographing at the beach.
One Oregon workshop has wrapped and was a lot of fun. My next one starts tomorrow.
