In The Field: Photographing Big Sur #354

The Big Sur region of California is no stranger to photographers. It is one of those areas that feels like a “right of passage” for landscape photographers. In June of 2018, I spent several days in the Big Sur area with my camera. Of course, I visited the ever-popular Pfeiffer Beach, McWay Falls, Soberantes Point, and the iconic Lone Cypress on 17-Mile Drive. In this video, I share three locations that don’t always get top billing, yet surprised to me with their beauty and photographic possibilities.
