In The Field: No Waves, No Worries #376

San Diego had a very high tide during the new moon. I set out to capture some photos of the high surf, with my mind set on close-up shots of wave crests. Nature, on the other hand, decided on something else. Join me on the rocks in La Jolla and see what I photographed instead.
