Do You Feel Rushed To Share Photos?

I took this photo several weeks ago. I really liked what I had, however I waited before posting it. And I'm glad I did. I made some subtle tweaks to the processing and some finer touch ups.

Recently, I've been taking a bit of "downtime" from a shot before sharing. When a photo is fresh and new, I'm excited about it and very eager to process and share it. Yet after a cooling down period, sometimes I find either the photo isn't as good as I thought it was (excitement overpowering common sense :), or realize I want to take the photo in a different direction.

Do you ever feel rushed to post a photo? If so, how do you deal with it?

Lastly, a little behind the scenes action on the making of this photo...
