Tides Can Change Everything - In The Field #407

The Scripps Pier is an area I enjoy photographing. Home to a San Diego icon, I like taking my photo workshops to this location to photography sunset.

In today’s video, I visit the beach near the pier at a very low tide. Many of the rocks that aren’t normally visible make a showing. During the hour or so I was on scene, the rising tide had a dramatic impact on the mood of the scene. Here are a few photos (unprocessed) showing the difference.
