The Pier At Dusk

Although the Scripps Pier never changes, the mood of the sky and sea around it is always changing. I took this photo in early April during my San Diego Coastlines workshop. A few weeks later, the sky was totally different, a mix of yellow and dark gray. And the ocean was angrier, the tide higher. I'm sure my next visit will be different yet again.
