The 50/50 Landscape Photographer f/50

Sony A7Rii Photographing Lake Hodges In Escondido

We made it to Episode 50! That’s a nice milestone to reach and thank you very much for being part of the podcast!!

One of my outings to the coast from about a month ago has been on my mind. It was an average day, with no killer skies or dramatic light. Yet I enjoyed it very much. Why was that so? Of course, getting out with the camera, especially in late 2020 is in and of itself a joy. But there was more to it than that.

The more I thought about it, I think it has to do with the mindset we have when approaching a landscape. Are we rigid, fluid, or a mix of the two? I have some thoughts to share about this in today’s podcast.
