Spruce Street Suspension Bridge

It's over 100 years old now... the Spruce Street Suspension Bridge, just north of downtown San Diego, is a pedestrian bridge. Built in 1912 to give ready access to new trolley lines for growing neighborhoods on the opposite side of Kate Sessions Canyon.

I made my first visit to this bridge over the weekend, connecting with a local Meetup group. It was nice to find a new subject to shoot. I did find it challenging to come up with a good composition. The one above turned out pretty good.
