Remembering Death Valley

I found this photo in my Death Valley folder while moving images from Aperture to Lightroom. Only about 2000 more photos to go... I'm nearly there!

As winter approaches in Southern California, visiting the desert areas becomes more appealing. Temperatures are nice in the daytime, and can be downright cold after sundown. It's been 2 years since I went to Death Valley. I'm tempted to return later in December, but I'm eyeing Joshua Tree National Park which I've never been to.
