Ponte da Piedade, Lagos, Portugal

As I'm sifting, sorting and culling photos – reliving my recent holiday to Spain and Portugal – the pull of Lagos, Portugal is strong. The entire family really enjoyed our time there. A relaxed pace, a stunning coastline, wonderful weather. We're already talking about other beach destinations with an eye on the Mediterranean.

Photographically, Lagos was one of my favorite on the trip. By now you should well know I can't get enough of seascapes, rocks and cliffs! This was my parting shot from my last night in Lagos, a view of Ponte da Piedade. I did climb down to the base of the cliffs and take shots there, too. It's a mere 190+ steps, one way. Hey... that's better than the 224 to Praia da Camilo.
