Joshua Tree

I took a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park over the New Year's holiday. Had a blast. I must admit I prefer the western side of the park... more Joshua trees... but each area offers its own attractions. And I'm so glad I brought the hat and gloves. Even at the height of day, it was a crisp 35 degrees F.

I definitely want to return again when there are different weather patterns. Also to explore areas I didn't have time for during this visit. Sometimes I feel photography is like travel... the more you do it, the more you realize how much more you want to do.
