In The Field: Extra Reach With Your Mirrorless Camera #350

Sony A7Rii @ 200mm, full frame

Sony A7Rii @ 300mm, APS-C mode
Join me for two visits to Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, and learn how the APS-C shooting mode in my Sony A7Rii helped me get extra reach for one of the photos. Over the Memorial Day weekend, a mermaid appeared on the top of one of the prominent rocks along Sunset Cliffs. She has been a big buzz around San Diego. It so happened I photographed this rock a couple of weeks before her arrival. Come on out to Sunset Cliffs with me, both before and after the arrival of the mermaid.
