Blending Frames to Create Dynamic, Surreal Skies

Sunburst At St. Peter's Square, Vatican City

Moving clouds make for some interesting photos. Long exposures show motion. Blending multiple frames together in post-processing is another option. I did just that with some recent shots taken in St. Peter's Square using onOne's Perfect Photo Suite to do the layer blending and stylization. The video is about 10 minutes. I think it'll be worth your time.

If you like what you see, onOne is running a sweet summer deal on the Perfect Photo Suite now through June 26th 2014.

Watch Scott Davenport as he demonstrates how to use Aperture and Perfect Photo Suite 8 to create dramatic and surreal skies. Scott shows you how to use blending modes and multiple layers in the Perfect Photo Suite to enhance his photo which results in a great artistic expression on the clouds and building in this image.
