Nikon D7000 Auto Distortion Control

Lens distortion control. In my camera?!? I can't believe I'm just noticing this now!!!

I shoot landscapes, which means I shoot wide angle a lot. Lens distortion is a problem. I'm right in the middle of preparing my camera for tomorrow morning's outing and I stumble across Auto Distortion Control in the Shooting menu on my D7000. I never noticed this before.

I took a few quick shots to try it out. With Nikon lenses (I have G lenses), it works quite well. I notice less with my Tokina 11-16mm. I'm gonna flip this to "On" for tomorrow's shoot and see how it fares.
