Murals In Pompei

Murals In Pompei, Italy

A day trip to Pompei from Rome is a long one - but well worth it. I had a surprisingly good time exploring the ruins of the city, which are vast. If you ever visit, take the time to explore the off-the-beaten path areas for some unique finds.

My children were the intrepid explorers on this visit. They found a set of dwellings where the murals painted on the walls are still quite clear even after nearly 2000 years.
