A Grassy Meadow, Take II

The Grassy Meadow, Santa Ysabel, California

I went back to the photo of the grassy meadow in Santa Ysabel this evening. I wasn't satisfied with the version resulting from the live edit session. It felt a little dark, and the warmth of the meadow I felt while on scene wasn't coming through in the photo. I'm liking this one better. It's warmer, more inviting.

I do find it interesting how two very different interpretations of a photo can result from the same digital negatives. I think a lot of of what comes through in processing is how I'm feeling or what music I might be listening to at the time.
