Autumn, Sauvie Island

On my last day in Portland, I spent the morning driving about on Sauvie Island at the suggestion of my friend and fellow photographer Hudson Henry. It was a fantastic recommendation and time very well spent. The day was overcast and had an overall cold feeling to it - autumn well in play with hints of winter in the air.

I created this from a single exposure using a variety of tools in the Perfect Photo Suite. I wanted to capture the cold feeling of the day. I'll be putting together a video to further explain the steps. Stay tuned.

Technical Details:
- Nikon D7000 w/ Nikkor 18-200mm lens @ 48mm
- Aperture f/8 @ 1/100 second, -2/3 EV
