Haystack Rock has been shot by countless photographers. On my first trip to the Oregon coast, I debated between Cannon Beach and the shores further south. I chose the latter.

While driving on the 101 South, I couldn't help but pull over for a few minutes at the scenic overlook and get a few snaps of Haystack Rock. It's the "I was here" shot. The shot not destined for the portfolio, yet the shot I want as a memory of a time, place or journey.
