Photo Of The Moment - The Pacific Ocean

The Pacific Ocean

After taking photos of Broken Hill, I meandered down the switchbacks of Torrey Pines to a wedge in the cliffs offering beach access. The morning was very calm, little to no wind, high tide beginning to recede. On this morning, The Pacific lived up to its name.

This photo reminds me that I really should invest in a neutral density filter. I think a slightly longer shutter drag would soften the white water, better conveying the calm, peaceful feeling the scene conveyed.
