A Scouting Visit To Bird Rock

Last Sunday morning, I made a visit to Bird Rock for some photos. The partly cloudy forecast turned out to be a mostly foggy morning. However, I made the best of the situation, shifting gears and turning my outing into more of a scouting visit.

The tide was low, but not really low, which turned out to be a good thing. I hugged the coastline as I scrambed along the jetty. And I found a new (to me) spot with an interesting composition. Now the next time the tide is right and the sky is more interesting, I know just where I'll go.

I took a little video while I was there, too. Have a look.
