Old Point Loma Lighthouse

The Old Point Loma Lighthouse watched over San Diego for 35 years or so from the late 1800s into the early 1900s. Today, it's a museum and a prime attraction in the Cabrillo National Monument park.

On this day, I was graced with light cloud cover that lit up brilliantly as the sun dipped beneath the horizon. I'd spend much of the afternoon at the park taking shots of the cliff sides and the lighthouse. When the sky turned orange and pink, I tightened up on the lighthouse itself.
