Show Notes
It is no secret to the Stop Down Photography Podcast audience that I am a Beatles fan. The Fab Four entered my photographic orbit again this past week. I was driving, iTunes on shuffle, and (as has been known to happen) a Beatles song hit the speakers. It was Penny Lane - classic.
Penny Lane was a track on the Magical Mystery Tour album, a record chock full of solid songs. But… it’s not the album that got my photographic brain active. It is the made for television film of the same name.
The Magical Mystery Tour was the 3rd Beatles film. And it was not a success. Yet there are several connections to and lessons for photographers in this film. This is the topic for today’s podcast.
The connections between The Magical Mystery Tour and photography I talk about are:
Be Open To The Journey
The Presentation Medium Matters
Have A Clear Story
Keep Producing Work
