Show Notes

There are two types of metadata, organizational and artistic. Organization metadata helps you sort, gather, arrange, and track your photos. Artistic metadata is information about your photos that will help you grow as an artist. That’s the topic of today’s podcast.

The wise use of a few key pieces of metadata will help you grow as an artist. Metadata is an invaluable tool to build point-in-time retrospectives of your work so you can compare your past self to your present self. Going back in time, you can understand your present and find both recipes for successful photos and opportunities for artistic growth in your own personal metadata time machine.
