The Base Of Sisters Rock

Sisters Rock along the Oregon Coast is one of my favorite spots. The gang with me on the Oregon Coastal Adventure really enjoyed it, too.

There are completely different views to the north and south from this little outcropping of land. You can also work your way down to sea level - I recommend the longer way. An easier, gradual set of switchbacks with plenty of room to walk. I climbed up the hard way after taking this photo - a great quad workout I suppose. Yet not my wisest decision to date.

I took my black & white project on the road with me. This scene isn't as minimal as I've been shooting in San Diego. I really liked the dark brown of the sand on this beach. It was this pristine when I was there - no footprints to be found (other than the ones I left).
